Different orders answer different questions
The established selection on the Asian hub is ordered by subscriber count after the recent selection is removed. It is not the top of an all-purpose quality league table. The lists intentionally show different channels rather than repeating one large feed in every section.
| Signal | Useful for | Does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Subscribers | Comparing recorded audience size | Authentic followers or trust |
| Last observed post | Comparing dated activity | Availability today |
| Topic wording | Finding an explicitly labelled subject | Country, nationality or ownership |
Compare like with like
First check that both destinations are public channels covering the subject you wanted. A discussion group, a promotional feed and a media archive can have similar names while serving different purposes. Their subscriber totals do not make them interchangeable.
Then compare post dates and the period covered. Two counts recorded on different dates are not a growth series. This snapshot cannot tell you which audience grew faster, and summing subscriber counts would count people who follow several channels more than once.
Keep trust decisions separate
Read the channel's own claims
Treat 'official', 'verified' and similar words in a title as claims until independently corroborated.
Check the destination before interacting
A directory position is not an endorsement of a payment request, bot or administrator account.
Use the report route for a mismatch
Report a changed topic, misleading identity or excluded material instead of assuming the ranking has already caught it.
Dated examples from the directory
These are sample catalog records, not endorsements or checks of current availability. Open a local profile to inspect the destination.
Questions
Are the largest entries recommended creators?
No. The order reflects recorded subscriber totals, not a verification of creators.
Can I add the counts to estimate unique viewers?
No. Subscribers can overlap across channels, and the snapshot does not measure unique viewers.
Continue with the next question
The directory does not verify creator identity or the rights to individual posts. Report a changed or excluded listing. Read the snapshot rules.
