Follow one identifiable destination
Cards in the Asian hub link to local channel profiles. The profile's Telegram button uses the site's normal /go/ route. The knowledge articles do not distribute private invitation codes or replace the existing opening flow.
A browser may show a Telegram landing screen or ask whether to open the app. That handoff is different from a channel being removed. Compare the username on the local profile with the destination shown by the browser or app before taking another action.
Check the handoff in order
Open one local profile
Keep its username visible so you can compare it with the next screen.
Use the normal Telegram button
If the browser offers to open the installed app, review that prompt. Do not install an unfamiliar file offered by a third-party page.
Read the destination information
Confirm that you reached a channel with the expected username and subject. A bot, group or payment page is a different destination.
Classify any failure
An invalid username, expired invitation, restricted channel and media loading issue need different checks.
If the app never opens
Check whether Telegram is installed and whether the browser allows its normal app-opening prompt. A failure to launch the app does not show that the channel is inactive. Conversely, successfully launching Telegram does not show that a historical channel record is still valid.
Do not keep following replacement links from unrelated comments. If the exact username fails, use the invalid-link guide. If the app opens but displays a restriction message, use the message-specific guide instead of changing privacy settings at random.
